Are you ready to stop maintaining and start building? We're looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer for a permanent role with a Manchester-based consultancy that specialises in greenfield data projects.

This consultancy is known for building cutting-edge data solutions for a diverse clientele. Forget being siloed in one industry; this role offers the variety to tackle new challenges and data sets across multiple sectors. Your first project will be a brand-new Snowflake implementation, giving you the chance to make your mark from the very beginning.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and building scalable, high-performance data pipelines from scratch in Snowflake.

  • Working directly with clients to understand their real business needs and turn them into robust technical solutions.

  • Owning the performance and quality of data processes, with a focus on data modelling and performance tuning.

  • Solving complex data challenges in a cloud-native environment (primarily Azure).

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with at least two previous Snowflake projects under your belt.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • A solid understanding of a major cloud platform (Azure preferred).

  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data modelling, and building for scale.
