London based consultancy seeks Snowflake Platform Engineer / Snowflake Infrastructure Engineer to join their client projects team on a contractual basis. This consultancy is renowned for its comprehensive and cutting-edge data solutions, serving a diverse clientele across various industries. Your initial deployment will be on a greenfield Snowflake implementation.

 

As a Snowflake Platform / Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing our robust Snowflake and data ecosystems. This position is crucial for supporting end-user teams by enabling access to data, streamlining transformations, building detailed reports, and leveraging advanced automation tooling.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Automate processes within the data ecosystem to ensure efficiency and adherence to platform standards.

  • Snowflake schema management

  • Administer Snowflake tools, managing accounts, user permissions, and security controls, including integration with IAM systems.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Engineer or similar role in data platform management.

  • Strong proficiency in managing Snowflake environments and ecosystem tools.

  • IAC

  • Python for building and maintaining data access libraries.

  • In-depth knowledge of IAM and other permission control systems.

  • Snowflake certifications

 

This is an Outside IR35 project. Most of the work can be done remotely, however there may be instances at certain project timelines where on-site work with the client is preferable.
