Snowflake Data Engineer - Contract

London based consultancy seeks Snowflake Data Engineer to join their client projects team on a contractual basis. This consultancy is renowned for its comprehensive and cutting-edge data solutions, serving a diverse clientele across various industries. Your initial deployment will be on a greenfield Snowflake implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of data processes.

• Conduct data modelling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within Snowflake environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with specific expertise in Snowflake.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages such as Python.

• Solid understanding of cloud computing environments, particularly Azure.

• Experience with data warehousing, data modelling, and data architecture.

• Ability to handle large datasets and integrate complex business logic into designed solutions.

This is an Outside IR35 project. Most of the work can be done remotely, however there may be instances at certain project timelines where on-site work with the client is preferable.
