London based consultancy seeks Snowflake Data Architect to join their client projects team on a contractual basis. This consultancy is renowned for its comprehensive and cutting-edge data solutions, serving a diverse clientele across various industries. Your initial deployment will be on a greenfield Snowflake implementation for a FTSE listed business..


This opportunity will place you at the forefront of strategic data initiatives, utilising one of the industry's most powerful cloud-based data platforms, Snowflake, to drive transformative business outcomes.

 

The Role:

As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will:

 

  • Design and implement cutting-edge data solutions using Snowflake to enhance data-driven decision-making.

  • Lead the architecture and deployment of scalable and secure data infrastructure that supports enterprise-wide analytics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with other critical business platforms and systems.

  • Drive the adoption of best practices in data security, governance, and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Architect robust, scalable, and highly efficient data solutions utilising the Snowflake environment.

  • Develop and optimise large-scale data processing systems to support varied analytical and operational workloads.

  • Ensure the reliability and security of data architecture through comprehensive strategies and protocols.

  • Engage with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that provide actionable insights.


Your Skills and Experience:

 

  • Proven expertise in Snowflake data architecture, design, and deployment.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages such as Python or Java.

  • Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing techniques.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing services, ideally, Azure.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

This is an Outside IR35 project. Most of the work can be done remotely, however there may be instances at certain project timelines where on-site work with the client is preferable.
