Interim Test Manager - Migration/Transformation Programme
North-East

Experienced Interim required to join this ongoing Data Migration / Digital Transformation programme as Test Manager. This critical role involves leading the Testing for the migration of the organisations ERP system. As an expert in delivering against objectives, you will be instrumental in managing test planning, overseeing non-functional and performance testing, and directing the team through the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Sanity check, refine and implement a comprehensive test strategy for the ERP migration.
  • Manage non-functional and performance testing to ensure the new system meets all technical and business requirements.
  • Lead the planning and execution of UAT, collaborating closely with business stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing processes.
  • Work with the project team to ensure testing timelines align with the overall project schedule.
  • Provide regular progress updates to project leadership and key stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Proven experience in test management, not necessarily in ERP migrations.
  • Strong background in non-functional and performance testing.
  • Experience in managing UAT in a complex business environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate internal hierarchies, agendas and deliver what is required.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

 

This is your opportunity as an experienced Interim, to deliver a project that has suffered an element of project fatigue. You can influence, re-invigorate and deliver what has become a major hurdle for the organisation. This project needs someone who gets the challenge, and will deliver.

**Whilst this role can be undertaken on a hybrid basis, there will be a significant need to be on-site during the UAT phase of the project. **
