Snowflake Platform Engineer, Edinburgh
9-12 months contract
£450 per day Outside IR35

If you’re tired of being a "ticket-taker" and want to own the end-to-end flow of data in a modern environment, this is for you. We are looking for a Snowflake specialist who understands that high-quality engineering isn't just about writing code; it’s about delivering reliability, security, and clarity to the business.

You won't just be moving data from A to B. You’ll be architecting the bridge between Snowflake and Oracle, using a blend of SQL and Python to build pipelines that are as robust as they are scalable. You’ll have the freedom to use modern orchestration tools to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
This role sits within a consultancy with it’s history embedded in the Scottish central belt currently seeking a Snowflake Platform Engineer to work on a on-prem to cloud data transformation project. 

Key Technical requirements:
Snowflake
SQL &/or Python
dbt
Prior on-prem experience ideally with Oracle
