Snowflake Technical Architect
€825 per day

Snowflake Technical Architect required for an initial 6-month contract to support a consultancy in their implementation work for a financial services business based in Amsterdam.

The Role:

As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will:

  • Develop and deploy innovative data solutions leveraging Snowflake to improve data-informed decision-making.

  • Spearhead the design and implementation of robust and secure data infrastructure to enable company-wide analytics.

  • Work with teams across the organization to connect Snowflake with other key business platforms.

  • Champion and implement leading practices for data security, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and build resilient, scalable, and performant data solutions using the Snowflake platform.

  • Create and enhance high-volume data processing systems to handle diverse analytical and operational needs.

  • Maintain the reliability and security of the data architecture by implementing thorough strategies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert their needs into technical solutions that deliver practical insights.

Your skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable expertise in designing, building, and deploying Snowflake data architectures.

  • Solution-focused with strong technical skills allied to good business acumen (ideally with some financial services domain experience)

    Ability to work within cross-functional teams, designing data models, enhancing data pipelines, while ensuring data integrity and security are given top priority.

  • Practical experience with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing methodologies.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, Azure preferred.
